Teach For India is a nationwide movement of outstanding college graduates and young professionals who teach full time in low income schools for two years. The Fellowship enables them to become lifelong leaders advocating for educational equity.
Every year, bright students and young professionals from all streams apply for this fully paid Fellowship and once selected, go on to transform their lives and the lives of children in their classrooms.
This year, we have received over 6500 applications for the 2012 Fellowship. But the challenge is much bigger. 320 million children deserve an excellent education. We are looking for more Fellows to join the movement towards achieving educational equity.
