Alumni Services

Teach For India's Alumni Network will serve as a resource for current Fellows and Alumni seeking career advice, professional networking opportunities, and other types of assistance from other alumni. During the Fellowship duration, the Alumni Services help current Fellows learn about and apply to jobs in a variety of sectors, such as education, banking, journalism, consulting or social work.

On an ongoing basis, Teach For India will work toward creating corporate and social sector recruitment opportunities for our Fellows once they finish the two year program. Already, many companies have agreed to recruit from our pool of Fellows once they successfully complete the two years. We anticipate adding to this list continually to ensure that our Fellows have suitable exit options. Placement will depend on each Fellow's competence, performance through the Fellowship period and opportunities available.

Additionally, Teach For India is working with institutions across India to create academic exit options for our Fellows. Management schools, such as S P Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai, have agreed to grant admission to Teach For India Fellows upon completion of the two years, provided they meet basic academic criteria. Again, we will continually add to the list of academic institutions that will grant admission to Fellows.
