Position Title: Intern, Fellowship Selection (Research & Analysis)
Location: Mumbai, Pune, Delhi

Team Overview:
The Selection Team is responsible for identifying and selecting the most promising leaders into the Fellowship program who’d be able to put our kids of a different life path.

Position Summary:
The Fellowship Selection Intern (Research & Analysis) is responsible for analyzing various types of Qualitative and Quantitative data, working on ground pilots and feeding learning back into Selection model. Additionally, they will be required to provide logistical support to internal processes of the Selection Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing incoming data to drive decisions aimed at increasing accuracy and efficiency of the Selection Process currently processing around 15,000 applications every year.)
  • Conducting various pilots (Collection of primary and secondary data including analysis and documentation) to increase the robustness of the Selection model.
  • Additionally, you will also be exposed to avenues of engaging with our Applicants who prepare for their final stage of Selection process - The Assessment Centre. We will create an opportunity for you to get a first-hand experience of supporting our Applicants in their journey to become a Teach for India Fellow while you are spending most of your time analyzing and exploring our Selection model.

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office with an expertise in MS Excel (including Pivots & functions)
  • Proficiency in using at least one of the statistical tools like R, Stata, SPSS etc. is preferable but NOT essential.
  • Demonstrated ability in handling data and/or designing research or surveys
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English
