Intern, Development (Fundraising)
The Strategy & Learning team is a key resource for other teams within Teach For India (TFI) on analysis and reporting key performance metrics for Teach For India (TFI). The team works to enable more efficient, accurate, informed, and timely decision making by TFI’s leadership team and individual staff. As part of the commitment to donors and our collective mission, the team also supports ongoing studies of impact, reach and effectiveness among key stakeholders including Principals, Fellows and Students.
The National Team also provides tools and support to individual cities and the Expansion Team in its fundraising efforts. The Development Team is divided into 9 work streams by different sources of funding that Teach For India receives. Some of these include Corporates, Foundations, Individual Giving, Retail Giving, Online, Events, amongst others.
- In depth research and scoping of potential donors.
- Leading research projects on various spheres connected to Development – researching creative new avenues of fundraising.
- Assist with preparing and copy editing of funding proposals and donor reports.
- Provide donor relationship stewardship support to the larger team.
- Assist the team with regular operational and organizational functions.
- This is also an opportunity for the intern to gain valuable organizational exposure and experience and as such, the development team is happy to support the candidate’s specific areas of interest in work as far as we can
