Consultant, Partnerships - Firki

Training and Impact - Any city with Teach For India operations
Position Summary:
The Firki Partnership Consultant will manage partnerships and be responsible marketing Firki to teachers and school leaders in all parts of India. The Partnerships Consultant be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with the government, networks of budget private schools, and nonprofit organizations.
Team Overview:
The Firki Partnerships Consultant is an essential part of the team and works closely with the Coach. The Firki team is nestled within Teach for India’s Training and Impact team, and works largely with external implementation partners.
Responsibilities :
  • Source external partnerships for Firki, that allow us to increase our impact and expand to new geographies
  • Build relations with external organisations, manage all partnership requests.
  • Represent and Advocate at meetings and conferences
  • Document partnership protocols, partner manuals and create process documents when needed
  • Supports in planning and organizing city events like inspirED, mid-year retreats.
Additional responsibilities:
  • Support Firki coach and content teams when needed
  • Support coaches and facilitators at implementation sites through group coaching and support, skype or hangout webinars and in-person meetings when needed
Knowledge and Technical Skills:
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English, second language a must [Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil or Telugu]
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, and Google Apps
  • Proficiency in using project management tools such as Trello or Asana
  • Previous experience with LMS or online learning tools [desired]

  • Strong people and partnership management skills, so as to effectively oversee partnerships with diverse stakeholder
  • Ability to be resourceful, take responsibility and find effective solutions to problems
  • Entrepreneurial attitude: working independently while also being a team player
  • Ability to maintain a 50% travel schedule

Education and Experience
  • 1-2 years work experience in the education environment, including facilitating and coaching groups of teachers and school leaders
  • Previous experience working hard in a deadline-oriented, target-driven environment with respect for process and professionalism
  • Experience as a program coordinator or project manager, is preferred
