From the Pune Fellows

“As I was born and brought up in Maharashtra, I had an option of choosing between Mumbai and Pune. I choose Pune as I wanted Morning School and Pune has much better commutation compared to Mumbai. In Pune, I can travel from one end to another in 40 to 45 minutes. My school is about 4.5 km from the place where I stay, and even then, I reach my school in 15 to 20 minutes.”

- Ronald Joseph, Pune Fellow 2010

“In Pune, the weather is the best thing. The city is small, so it’s easy to commute and you save a lot of travel time. Also, it’s relatively cheaper than other metros. Because there are so many colleges, there are tons of good palaces to hang out. If you want to leave the city, there are many places to trek within 40-50 kilometers of the city.”
