Where has Teach For India launched its operations?
At present Teach For India is working in three major cities of India- Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. Teach For India will be launching its operations in Hyderabad and Chennai from June 2012.
How can I donate online?
You need to go to the donation page and follow the instructions. You need a Credit Card or Debit card to donate to Teach For India.
Will I get Tax exemptions on my donations?
Yes, Teach For India (registered as Teach To Lead) has certificate for Tax Exemption under section 80 G of Income Tax Act 1961. All donations to Teach For India are 50% exempt from tax under Section 80 G. The tax exemption 80G is applicable only for donations made within India.
Will you send a Tax exemption certificate?
Yes , Teach For India will send a 80 G certificate to the address mentioned by you in Donation form. It will take 15 working days to send the 80 G certificate.The tax exemption 80G is applicable only for donations made within India.
Can I donate in Foreign currency (US dollars, Pounds)?
